We are not directly affiliated with any of the companies or websites linked on this blog and we don’t have any advertisers / affiliate programs who pay us.  The wines, winemakers and wineries mentioned in this blog are talked about as our opinions and research.  We do not get paid whether you buy any wines or go to any wineries mentioned in this blog.

We reserve the right to refuse to review any wine that is sent to us for the purpose of a review. If a winery or distributor sends us a wine, we decide ourselves to objectively critic and review the wines. Our stated purpose of the blog is to educate ourselves as well as our readers about wines, wineries, wine topics and winemakers.  What we write is at our sole discretion.  

We may go to wineries, competitions and tasting events for the purpose of this blog, but we do so with no conditions attached or expectations of favoritism.  

We don’t typically do blind tastings unless we tell you we are doing so for the blog.  We do research on the wines tasted and we will tell you what we find which helps us to inform you about how we judge a wine compared to what the winery or winemaker says.  

We make no claims or guarantees (expressed or implied) about our reviews but we will give you our best objective thoughts.  Everyone has a different preference and palate.  We are developing our abilities and palate just like you which we are all on a shared journey.
