The Drouhin long history of storied winemaking says they are "French soul, Oregon Soil". There is a a bouquet of bee pollenated honeysuckle. Less acidity than the Domaine Drouhin Arthur Chardonnay. We saw a lighter color and a water edge with this wine. We enjoued the long finish.
The winemaker uses three estate grown Chardonnay blocks that are handpicked and sorted. The harvest is immediately pressed and divided into equal amounts to both tank and barrel. Veronique personally oversees the malolactic fermentation herself.
The Roserock vineyard, purchased by the Drouhin Family in 2013. The property has volcanic soils, cooler temperatures and elevation to make gorgeous wines.
