Friday Night Wine Up is a 2018 Oak Farm Pinot Noir. A wine built to last many more years. A pale red berry color with aromas of raspberry and ripened cranberry evolving into beautiful cherries. We found the medium bodied wine to be smooth and elegant. The tannins are round with the balance of acidity leading to and a long finish.
The grapes are from the Russian River Valley of Sonoma County and expertly farmed by the Ledbetter Family (Vino Farms). There are two different clones of Pinot Noir (Pommard and 777) that originate from Burgundy. This wine was aged in 19% new French Oak barrels.
