Sunday Night Wine #2 (surprise gift from Alicia Marie) 2019 Tertre du Moulin Cuvée Millésimée Grand Cru. It is a value wine with a short drink by date of 2024. The label is more elaborate than the wine. A blend of 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc.
A full bodied wine with hints of black cherry, and plum with a hint of chocolate. Some spice but could be cinnamon? Tannins are slightly present with good acidity followed by a shallow finish.
Pair with burgers, beef and lamb.
