Friday Night Wine Up is a 2019 Tensley Syrah from the Colson Canyon Vineyard in Santa Barbara County. Tensley has been blessed with getting great grapes from the Colson Canyon Vineyard for the past 23 years. The wine can be considered intensely eligent and nicely a full-bodied rich wine. It is a deep and dark ruby red. We found whiffs Violets in the aroma. Strong blackberry and currant on the palate. Fermented in new oak so there is smoothed tannins and a balance of acidity. This wine has a remarkable finish.
