Winemakers:  Matt, Jay, Aaron and Nate Buoncristiani

Deep aromas cassis, black cherry fruit, chocolate, toasted oak, and hint of toffee.  This wine aged beautifully over the past 11 years and has plenty of legs to go the distance of another 11.  Loved the long finish.  A crowd pleasing wine for our family dinner.

The winery was started in 1999 by the four Buoncristiani Brothers. The sum of the parts makes the aggregate better approach where each of the brothers have diferent wine industry experience that they combine seemlessly to make an incredible Cabernet Sauvignon!  ntain and Coombsville. Buoncristiani makes a red blend made out of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec and Merlot as well as small amounts of Dolcetto.  The Dolcetto grapes are a nod o the Northern Italian family lineage.   It brings fruit flavors, hints of violets, and moderate tannins.  The name means sweet but it is not a sweet wine.
