Sunday Night Wine Up is a 2018 Domaine Bitouzet-Prieur Bourgogne-Aligoté "Les Grandes Terres".  Our first time with this variety.  The wine is a pale gold in color. Difficult to find much on the nose but when we did it was a fruity bouquet with notes of apple and lemon.  There was a more floral palette.  This wine is extra dry due to being raised 12 months on its fine lees in used 228-liter barrels.

Research says that this Aligoté is a crossing of Pinot noir and Gouais blanc.  The wines are located on a parcel planted in the early 1950s in the northern sector of Meursault.
