Friday Night Wine Up is a 2014 Santa Barbara Winery Petite Sirah. This famed vineyard, planted with Estrella River Clone Syrah, is known for its earthy, meaty characteristics. There was a moderate black raspberry and leather notes on the nose. The palate had some black olives and black pepper. A medium to long finish. The aging held up well. The color was not compromised.
