We had a private tasting and privileged to try their sold out inaugural 2021 Austin Hope Cellars Select Pinot Noir. The color was a perfect Pinot Noir. The wine was an elegant soft ruby color with aromas of blackberry and dark fruit like raspberries. The wine evolved nicely with a blend of mushroom and cloves.
The pinot noir grapes are sourced from a vineyard with vines planted in 1970. The wine is closing in on old world expectations.
